Isaac Technology Service Corp. located at 74 Georgian Villas NE, Calgary, ON, T2A 7C5 hiring a full-time
permanent Measurement while drilling Operator. Pay is $40 per hour.
Duties include:?
Provide supervision
during the installation of MWD equipment into drilling contractor's bottom-hole assembly.
Monitor and operate
MWD equipment at the field site in accordance with Isaac?Technology Services execution plans, guidelines, and
established operating limits.
Monitor and verify the accuracy of directional survey and gamma logs.
Complete
pre job function test of all MWD equipment.
Troubleshoot operational problems and proactively work towards
increased equipment reliability, reduced drilling time and cost savings to customers.
Perform field level
maintenance and inventory to the MWD system on location.
Pre/post job briefing and reporting as
required.
Management of MWD tools on location and communicating with Tool Coordinator? regarding MWD tool
requirements.
Daily communication with MWD Coordinator regarding daily operational reports and summary
reports.
Communicate with rig contractor, client representative and Cathedral office to ensure client's
targets and objectives are met
No experience required, will train, but Experience and?Exposure to survey
equipment? and navigation systems an asset.?
Diploma in maintenance, aircraft, mechanic or instrumentation?
will be an asset.?
Must have valid safety certificates (H2S,? First Aid & CPR, WHMIS). Must speak read and
write English.?Ability to work 12 hour shifts (including nights). Drug and Alcohol testing.?Must be able to
lift and carry up to 75 lbs. Location of work is in?rural Calgary.
