Chile and Agave Mexican Grill located at 51 Hartzel Road, St. Catharines, ON L2P 1M6 is Hiring Two Kitchen
Cooks Permanent Full-Time Position at $18.00/Hr. at 40 hours per week.
Duties Include:
?Take customers'
orders
?Clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs using manual and electric appliances
?use deep fryer, grill,
oven, dispensers and other equipment to prepare Mexican cuisines such as Carnitas Pork, Tinga chicken, Birria
beef, Suadero, Chorizo, Salsa verde, salsa roja, salsa habanero, Machaca, Cecina, handmade tortillas, corn and
flour and Hot Soups.
?Portion, assemble, and wrap food for service to patrons, and package take-out food
?Use
equipment to prepare hot beverages such as coffee and tea specialties
?Serve customers at counters or buffet
tables
?Stock refrigerators and salad bars and keep records of the quantities of food used
?May receive
payment for food items purchased.
?Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers
?Unpack and store
supplies in refrigerators, cupboards and other storage areas
?Sweep and mop floors and perform other duties to
assist cook and kitchen staff.
Requirements:
Completion of high school
Must have a minimum of at least 3
years? experience in Mexican cooking or similar job field.
Must Speak, Read and Write English
Fluent in
speaking Spanish is an asset.
