Main Job Responsibility |
-Responsible for performing mechanical system inspections, troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs as
required to ensure efficient, safe and reliable HVAC, boiler and piping systems
-Responsible for ensuring that
all safety and operational procedures are followed during work performance
-Read and interpret blueprints,
drawings or other specifications
-Responsible for measuring and lay out reference points for
installation
-Responsible for assembly and installation of furnace, air conditioning and boiler components
such as motors, controls, gauges, valves, circulating pumps, condensers, humidifiers, evaporators and
compressors using hand and power tools
-Responsible for measurement and cut piping and connect piping using
welding and brazing equipment
-Responsible for installing, troubleshooting and overhaul entire heating,
ventilation, air handling, refrigeration and air conditioning systems
-Responsible for starting-up system and
test for leaks using testing devices
-Responsible for recharging system with refrigerant, check and test
regulators, calibrate system and perform routine maintenance or servicing
-Responsible for repairing and
replacing parts and components for entire furnace, air conditioning, ventilation or heat pump system
-Provide
direction and examples to Junior Technicians to facilitate their learning
-Responsible for ensuring that
Junior Technician's work is complete and follows code
-Responsible for all administrative and logistical
duties associated with position and jobsite
-Responsible for ensuring customer is informed of
system
-Responsible for ensuring customer is informed all maintenance and protection plans and associated WOC
material
-Any other duties and responsibilities as required
